“I can say that Robert Kocharyan has never tended to establish a political party or become a chair of any party. If he had wanted to, he would have been the honorary or actual chairman of the Republican Party,” on Saturday stated the chair of the Prosperous Armenia party after participating in the congress of the Youth Party of Armenia. Yesterday this statement of the Prosperous Armenia chairman caused a quite tense discussion and anxiety in the political arena of Armenia. Especially comments were heard from the Republican Party of Armenia. “I recommend our coalition partner not to make assumptions. And I will save a few pieces of advice for the future,” yesterday as a response to Tsarukyan’s statement mentioned the deputy-chair of the RPA Razmik Zohrabyan. As a response to the RPA statements Kachik Galstyan, the spokesman of Gagik Tsarukyan said, “We report to Tsarukyan only the opinions of influential and famous people. That is it.”
