Police bypassed

22/11/2010

During the government’s session on November 4 the prime minister Tigran Sargsyan criticized the sectors of healthcare, education and agriculture for corruption and failures. According to our information, the prime minister had also monitoring information rather than the political reasons only. This year as a result of anti-corruption strategy it was found out that the most corrupt systems in Armenia are the police, healthcare, education and social protection. The prime minister has spoken about all these sectors, dismissed some officials from work and made some structural changes, but the strangest thing is that the police has bypassed these violations in these sectors and have failed to do anything. By the way, according to the monitoring, the highest risk rates of corruption were observed in the police sector. According to our information, the next highly corrupt system after the police is healthcare, and in the third and fourth places accordingly are the sectors of education and social protection.
