How much would an “appreciated excitement” cost?

The international community and many of the international organizations are “teasing” the Armenian society in the recent period. On the one hand, they are publishing information about the arrests of Armenian criminals by connecting their names with the authorities of Armenia, and on the other hand they give such good estimations to Armenia that any non-democratic authority would dream of. For example, during the UN 6th summit on competition issues in Switzerland the officials of the participant countries praised the competition in Armenia so well that it seems we are almost at the same level with Switzerland. “Armenia’s example to respond to experts’ opinions was considered the best. Many of the participants expressed willingness to follow the example of the reforms Armenia has undertaken,” reads the statement about the UN summit. The international experts “cooperating” with the Armenian government in the sector of justice have almost the same standpoint. “International experts, who have a very good experience of communicating with prisoners, will publish their report soon and it is the first time for Armenia that it is written that the violence has stopped in prisons. This is written by people, who expressed totally different opinions 3-4 years ago,” said the justice minister Gevorg Danielyan. By the way, he announced this right after the second demonstration against the violence in prison against Nicol Pashinyan. Following this statement the Economist mixed everything in the comments about the current and expected political situations in Armenia. “The process of economic activation for 2011-2012 has a positive tendency on the account of recovering the external economic sphere and growing the domestic demand, which will reduce the possibility of social unrest,” write the authors of the article, who think that the authorities of Armenia are stronger than ever now and the opposition does not have many opportunities, and the RPA will continue having the majority in the parliament after the upcoming elections as well. These are estimations that the real “Armenian World” deserves. We wonder how they could arrange these “opinions”. We think that it is worth organizing a big international summit in Armenia to find the answer to this question and see what they have promised, and as a rule, we will again borrow several million dollars (or maybe pounds) to organize this good event.
