The images in this picture can only provide superfluous understanding about the terrible phenomenon, which our youth has been infected by for quite a time. This movement named Emo, which is so close to the satanic philosophy, may not be taken quite seriously by the adults, has become quite popular among youth. The ground of the “ideology” of this movement is the passion for suicide and the senseless incentive of proving to friends, relatives and families thee motive of committing a suicide. This movement has already caused the suicide of dozen of young people. Emo, which stands for "emotional, is a youth movement based around dark music, dark clothing and a dark view of the world. It was pioneered in America and Emo followers adhere to a host of cult-like conventions to demonstrate dedication to this new wave of pop music and lifestyle. The Emo brand of music sounds much like indie or rock, but it takes its unique name from the emotional lyrics and melancholy themes. They indulge in self-harming and become obsessed with death and suicide. In the very center of Yerevan, in the park of Saryan street General Post Office and the walls of the tunnel taking to Hrazdan gorge portray images and symbols and other coded signs, the main point of which is the “END.” The, which should be inflicted to life. Moreover, at the same park the Emo admirers conduct their actions at the evening hours and discuss the details of the attempts of the suicide of one of their loyalists. And this is taking place with the indifferent permission of the law-enforcers of Yerevan. And this is done in the event when the law-enforcers may attack an innocent leaflet deliverer of an opposition party, by finding him/her dangerous for the society. However, in this case we apparently are dealing with a dangerous phenomenon. And not only the law-enforcers but also the National Security Service should fight against this phenomenon. So must do the Armenian Apostolic Church. Moreover, this is such a sensitive issue that cannot be solved by force or other artificial means. Moreover, many parents of the teenagers have appeared in a dead-lock situation as by forbidding their children to be in this movement they might push them to a suicide.
