After a long break the ANC organized a rally in the vicinity of the Matenadaran, which according to the ANC representatives would be full of surprises. However there were no surprises in the speech of the first president Levon Ter-Petrosyan. He spoke about the previous speeches, commented on the opinions on his speeches and made some clarifications.
He continued his speech with the geopolitical situation and said that Serzh Sargsyan would not be able to maneuver, will be deprived of the support of the US, and will look for destiny in Moscow and Ankara, specifically, in the highest instance of the Turkish-Azeri tandem. This part of the speech was full of pro-Western messages and it is possible that in his next speech he will speak of the critics addressed to him for being pro-American, as it happened concerning the pro-Russian messages last time. In fact there was no news in his speech besides new formulations and analysis. As before, the ANC’s primary goal is the change of the government in the country, developing democracy, etc. It was not a secret before yesterday’s rally either. However, maybe the ANC people knew about this and by saying that there would be surprises and new information they meant the analysis and some estimations given by their leader. However, in Ter-Petrosyan’s speech the term ”cleptocracy” was spoken several times more than in his previous speeches taken together. As for the surprise they have been speaking of before the rally, maybe really they were planning surprises, but seeing that there were not so many people at the rally, he delayed it until the majority of the nation would go there and ask him to do that. The deadline of such petition is October 15, i.e. the next planned rally, which will be dedicated to a shameful appearance in the Armenian reality such as the corruption and corrupt system.
