The famous saying that politics is prostitution has gained practical features in Armenia. Although even prior to this our politicians were not outstanding with morality but what happened yesterday comes to prove that the human being is an unpredictable essence. The NA MP from the Prosperous Armenia Vardan Bostanjyan released an official statement that he hence finds it degrading for himself to continue the friendship with the Dallakyans, specifically for him to be the godfather of the children of Victor Dallakyan. And the reason of this statement was that Dallakyan in his recent statement mentioned that perhaps not all the Prosperous Armenia members are well-aware of the lines of Shirvanzade on charity and benevolence. The citation from Shirvanzade was construed by Bostanjyan as offence addressed to Gagik Tsarukyan and was deeply insulted of that. “From now on I find it dishonorable to continue my friendship and close ties with the Dallakyans and the work submitted by God,” he wrote in his statement. It is not hard to guess what made Bostanjyan to defy the “saint mission,” which is so much maintained and cherished at least among Armenians. In this case it is not so important and neither is the statement of Dallakyan and the grounds of that. Perhaps by doing that Dallakyan was fulfilling somebody’s order. But only Bostanjyan could have responded to that in this. But the most terrible thing is that certain politicians yesterday were quite depressed because of this because they knew that they’d be made to do something like this at any moment. After all this all we have left to do is remember the admonishment, which has become so relevant nowadays… “Don’t disdain your brother.” Indeed, Bostanjyan doesn’t have a threat like this anymore.
