Due to his yesterday’s visit to Baku the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev equaled to ground level the encouragement and exhilaration of the Armenian government and the state propaganda, which they were demonstrating after Medvedev’s visit to Armenia. And the problem is not only the fact that the president of the “strategic partner” of Armenia stated in Baku that Azerbaijan has an importance of a strategic partner for Russia. Medvedev said in an open text that the prolongation of the deployment of the military bases of Gyumri doesn’t have any other function but to provide peace in the region. And this happens on the background of the claims of the Armenian government; according to which if anything starts on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border the Russian troops will participate by all means trying to support us. And while in Armenia they are doing calculations about the benefits of the prolongation of the deployment of the Russian troops in Armenia yesterday the Azerbaijani state oil company and the Russian GazProm signed an agreement about the increase of the volume of natural gas provided to Russia. According to that in 2011 the volume of the natural gas provided to Russia from Azerbaijan will reach to annually 2 billion cubic meters and starting from 2012 this figure will exceed the one of the previous year. But the Russians don’t have in lines for degrading Armenia. Yesterday at the moment when the mentioned document was being signed in Baku GazProm stated that in the near future the gas price provided to Armenia will increase in the near future. “In 2010 the transition of market prices will continue in Armenia, Belarus and Moldova and that is the reason why the prices will go up for the countries of the that region,” yesterday stated the deputy-president of GazProm Andrey Kruglov. Therefore in the near future the Armenian “analytical and political thinking” and the typical politicians like Galust Sahakyans are going to face hard times.
