“In Armenia we do not have such a high level of risk, which will cause extraordinary elections,” yesterday stated a member of the Central Bureau of the Henchak party Vahan Shirkhanyan by adding that there is even no such political force, which will serve as a locomotive and make the government hold extra elections. To the question whether the ANC is not one of those locomotives, Shirkhanyan said, “Does anyone notice any kind of pressure on the government on part of the ANC? Of course, not.” According to Shirkhanyan the ANC has lost its only chance to hold extraordinary elections and this chance was given when the government had signed the Turkish-Armenian protocols. According to him the only possible way to hold extra elections would be the signing of an unfavorable document on part of our government, which would harm the interests of Armenia.
