Even though two years have remained till the upcoming parliamentary elections, the authorities are intensively getting ready for the elections, and it is not excluded that they are doing it to be ready for extraordinary developments. Even more, the authorities are getting ready for the elections not only by coordinating their tools and institutions but are also discussing the future “map” of parliamentarians, which has been drafted by the RPA. According to this map, the RPA, which has a sole authority, is planning that their coalition partners PA and ARF will not have so many places in the parliament. The Legal State will not be represented in the parliament at all. The same will happen to the opposition Heritage party. Even though the authorities are interested in having this party in the parliament, but since the last elections it has lost its reputation. According to some opinions, this place of the opposition may be taken by the Armenian National Congress, which acts as a radical opposition but from the functional point of view it can do the opposition’s role in the parliament better than the Heritage. These are preliminary arrangements, which may be changed in the future. The reason why the authorities dare to take such risk is the political situation in the country, which seems to be challenged by foreign factors but is very quiet.
