Turkey would benefit

“The suspension existed before the message of the president. If the RA president states that we are willing to ratify the protocols after the Turkish parliament agrees to do so it is indeed a form of suspension. So if now Turkey decides to ratify the protocols during the terms convenient for the country indeed this suspension will cease and the process will once again enter the speedy phase. This is most acceptable for us,” yesterday told our reporter the representative of the ARF Bureau Armen Rustamyan when speaking of the Armenian-Turkish rapprochement process. “The problem is that Turkey has advantages connected with these protocols. And it benefits from it. Although there were no results in the Armenian-Turkish process but the existence of the process is of benefit to Turkey,” added the MP.
