Yesterday Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended the opening of the new building of the Pan-Armenian Youth Center Foundation. According to the official information the Prime Minister walked round the building to get acquainted with the premises and technical facilities. In conclusion, the head of government met with students from the economics departments of different universities. Tigran Sargsyan delivered a lecture and answered the students’ questions. The Foundation will abide by those RA President-approved programs targeting the development of youth and, as supported by the Prime Minister will carry out activities in the fields of economy, education, sport, culture etc. The most noteworthy thing is that the state budget of Armenia allotted 35 million AMD to the implementation of this project. It is well-known what purposes such youth centers serve. They are in charge of advocating for the government during official campaigns of elections. Afterwards they become additions to various parties’ youth wings. And for this state pays them almost 100.000 USD. And perhaps in the near future the services of the “Bazes” will be in need again.
