ArmRusGazard company does not import gas from Iran and is not a party to the agreement. “The agreement has been signed between “Yerevan HES” CJSC and the national gas export company of Iran,” said the executive director of ArmRusGazard company Karen Karapetyan in answer to a question why the company does not buy gas from Iran if it is cheaper. “The formula of that deal is gas against electricity, and in fact there is no fixed price. If we calculate this proportion in money, the price of the Iranian gas will be more expensive than the gas we are importing,” said Karapetyan.
