The Turkish president Abdullah Gull took part in the opening of the Council of International Strategic Research and during this event he commented on the Armenia-Turkey relations. Gull says he hopes the process Armenia and Turkey have entered into may have a positive result. “Certainly there are different discussions concerning the issue of Karabakh. But the lands captured from Azerbaijan belong to Azerbaijan and there is no suspect. No opposition on part of Armenia toward this issue can be subject of discussion. From this point of view I believe the works are proceeding to the direction of returning the lands immediately and a lot of issues will be solved faster in this context. Both Azerbaijan and Armenia have been sufficed with the work of the Minsk Group of the past year,” said the Turkish president.
