The deputy chairman of the Tashir group of companies Vitali Efimkin says the company has spent $9,5 million for opening four private retails sales shops in a mall in the center of Moscow. According to him as a result of this investment the group of companies will have 22 retail trade centers in Moscow, and the gross income received from these retail trade centers will increase from being 8% to 20% in the gross profit of the group of companies.
The new four trade halls, which occupy about 1/3 of the mall worth of $20 million, will have specific directions of sale. 4,5 million out of the mentioned sum was spent on the wine hypermarket, 2 million was spent on the “Our Home” shop, 2 million – on the Fresh Market, and one million was spent on the shop of perfumes. The Tashir group of companies, which belongs to Samvel Karapetyan, intends to diversify the business risks with the help of retail trade businesses and even provide inflow and income in the conditions of the crisis. As a result of the new investment projects the Tashir will have 22 trade projects in Moscow, including the six Cinema Star theatres, 4 Our Home hypermarkets, 2 Kids Garden shops, 2 Grapes shop of wine, and Modern Alliance, Ranger and Wild West networks of clothing shops. In addition to the retail trade businesses the company also has 119 fast food businesses and restaurants.
