The European Union envoy in South Caucasus Peter Semneby met with journalists in Baku and in answer to a question how much are the issues of Karabakh conflict and Turkish-Armenian relations linked he said he did not want to judge the situation but hoped there would be improvement in the issue of Karabakh conflict. “I would not like to discuss the effectiveness and the direction of the two peaceful processes – the Armenian-Turkish relations and the settlement of Karabakh conflict. But we think that the existing situation will be maintained in connection with the issue of Karabakh, which will be considered as an improvement in the future,” said Semneby.
