The criminal case launched against the chief editor of Armenian Time newspaper Nycol Pashinyan was submitted to the court of first instance of Kentron and Nork-Marash communities of Yerevan. It is worth mentioning that Nycol Pashinyan and his lawyer were informed about the termination of the preliminary investigation of the case on August 5. Nycol Pashinyan is charged under the 316/1 and 225/1 articles of the criminal code. Lusine Sahakyan, Nycol Pashinyan’s lawyer, has informed the Radio Liberty that in 15 days after taking the case under its consideration the court shall make a decision on setting a date for a court session. Reminder: Nycol Pashinyan surrendered to the police in the end of June, and the police arrested him.
