Prime minister Tigran Sargsyan has met with the delegation of the European Commission in Armenia headed by the European Commission Foreign Affairs general office of Eastern Europe department director Gunar Vigand. The Prime minister has attached importance to the relations with the European colleagues and the 10th session of the EU-Armenia cooperation committee in Armenia. The parties have attached importance to the agreement on free trade. They said that in the beginning of the year the European commission has conducted independent expertise, as a result of which it is planned to suggest Armenia to sign an agreement on common and deep trade relations. Tigran Sargsyan reaffirmed that the Armenian government continues to be loyal and interested in efficient cooperation with the European commission for the purpose of efficient implementation of tax and customs administration, laws concerning the trade relations, which correspond to the logic of the reforms planned by the government. The parties have attached importance to developing the bilateral relations in different directions and active implementation of reforms in the state administration system. The parties have touched upon the agreement association with Armenia, the aids to be provided to our country, reforms in the sector of pensions, as well as regional cooperation issues.
