According to our information, the authorities are discussing the names of historians to be included in the sub-commissions of historians in charge of developing Armenian-Turkish diplomatic relations. People know the names of most of these historians such as the rector of Yerevan State University Aram Simonyan, the head of the Academy of Sciences Institute of Eastern Sciences Ruben Safaryan, The head of the Academy of Sciences Institute of History Ashot Melkonyan, history scientist Lavrenty Barseghyan, Gevorg Khudinyan, Armen Ayvazyan. Other people such as Ktrich Sardaryan, Hakob Chakryan and the head of the Genocide museum Hayk Damoyan may be included in the commission as well. The latter told our correspondent that he did not have information about the creation of the mentioned commission but did not exclude the possibility of participating in its work.
