According to the government, the economy will have a growth of 1-1.5% next year. The minister of finances Tigran Davtyan made such statement recently and said that when drafting the budget of 2010 they took into consideration the mentioned economic growth rate. He forecast 10-15% economic decline for this year. Tigran Davtyan says that as a result of the government’s anti-crisis activities, especially as a result of large financial injections, there are positive tendencies already, even though the results will be seen later in the future. He also says that it is a positive fact that the recession is stopping in developed countries, thus it will have a positive influence on Armenia’s domestic economy as well.
