During the first quarter of 2009 the greatest 325 taxpayers of Armenia have by 24% reduced the amount of their taxes paid to the state budget. The evidence of that is the publication of the RA State Revenue Committee on the 325 greatest taxpayers of Armenia, dated June, 2009. This decrease amounted to 24% in the event when the other taxpayers lessened their taxes only by 15%. Moreover, the incomes of the 325 greatest taxpayers reduced less (6%) than of the other taxpayers. Let’s recall that at the first quarter of the current year the GDP slump amounted to 16.3%.
