Yesterday when speaking of the series of Aliyev-Sargsyan meetings the OSCE Minsk group French Co-Chair Bernard Fassier mentioned, “We will witness a film.” We fully agree with Mr. Fassier with only one objection that all this resembles a comedy genre but not on part of Aliyev or Sargsyan but on the part of the OSCE Minsk Group chairmen. For example, how else can we explain the comments of the co-chairmen, who say that the last statements of Aliyev (according to which the issue of the status of the NKR is not discussed at the moment) are “big steps forward” or that those are not leading to “deadlock but to progress?” They were trying to make us feel that the tone of the voice of Aliyev has changed and instead of being belligerent he was sounding less aggressive. Thus, we are lucky. In past Ariyev in past didn’t claim to sweep away Armenians. Only the co-chairmen are not lucky. They cannot travel to Karabakh three times in a row due to weather conditions. What can be done? During a rainy weather they may lie down in a hotel room and watch a film preferably melodrama this time.
