The district head of Yerevan’s Kanaker-Zeytun community, Arayik Kotanjyan told the A1+ that he hadn’t been beaten despite the media releases. On the other hand, he doesn’t deny yesterday’s variance between the Republican (RPA) and Prosperous Armenia parties. This contradicts earlier press reports that a crowd of Republican Party members, led by Kotanjyan’s son, had attacked the Prosperous Armenia campaign headquarters in the district. And as a result the Prosperous Armenia members beat up the district head of Kanaker-Zeytun community, Arayik Kotanjyan. According to Arayik Kotanjyan, the conflicting sides tried to find out why the other was constantly changing party affiliation – first Legal State, then RPA and then Prosperous Armenia. "The main reason for the conflict was that. Then we departed. A short time later I received a telephone call from the Prosperous Armenia. They wanted to clarify something. They came, clarified and went away. I assure you no scuffle took place yesterday," Arayik Kotanjyan said to A1+. "The RPA and Prosperous Armenia state that no attacks were committed on their pre-election headquarters. Arayik Kotanjyan wasn’t bashed up." “My son has headquarter and he wasn’t involved in any fight,” assured Kotanjyan.
