Endangered

“Several months ago I could say that our government succeeds in being devoted to the principles of the peaceful negotiations process set by the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen. It means that we succeeded in separating the NKR conflict resolution from the Armenian-Turkish relations. However, today I am more pessimistic about this and this is connected with the fact that our government doesn’t correctly estimate the role and weight of Armenia in the region,” told our reporter the former Ambassador of Armenia to Syria, former member of the Armenian-Turkish rapprochement committee Davit Hovhannisyan. He also mentioned that the possibility of creating a committee of historians to examine the Armenian genocide may endanger the resolution of the issue for Armenians.
