“There are contradictions in the Congress regarding the foreign political issues of Armenia, Armenian-Turkish relations and NKR conflict resolution,” yesterday told our reporter Zhirayr Sefilyan, the head of the initiative group of the Armenian Volunteers Group, which is a member of the Armenian National Congress. He also added that he is against the quick opening of the border. “As long the economic, social, demographic and moral issues are not overcome in our country Armenia won’t benefit from opening the border,” he said. In this regard the Social-Democratic Henchak Party, which is also a member of the Congress, has contradictions with the first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan. “We are categorically against opening the border in these conditions. We think that in our country there are many legislative issues, which should be solved to provide national security,” said the chair of the Henchak party Lyudmila Sargsyan.
