Shant Harutyunyan’s health conditions became very bad yesterday. Shant Harutyunyan is a political prisoner charged under the Case of Seven and has not eaten anything or slept since an injection one week ago. Human rights advocate Avetik Ishkhanyan has visited the Vardashen prison to meet with Shant Harutyunyan. After the mentioned meeting Avetik Ishkhanyan said that the political prisoner is also in a bad psychological condition and needs stationary medical treatment. The Armenian national Congress has released an announcement requesting to take Shant Harutyunyan to hospital immediately and let independent doctors examine.
