According to our well-informed sources of information, there are going to be drastic changes in the diplomatic system of Armenia. Specifically, the Ambassador of Armenia in the United Kingdom, Vahe Gabriyelyan may be called back and get another position in Armenia. Armen Sargsyan, Ex-PM of Armenia, is negotiating with the government to appoint his trustee in the position of the Armenian Ambassador in the UK. It is a long time that the issue of recalling the Ambassador of Armenia in Russia, Armen Smbatyan is in the agenda as well. The most possible candidates for the Armenian Ambassador’s position in Russia are adviser to the president Andranik Manukyan, Ambassador of Armenia in Ukraine Armen Khachatryan, Representative of Karabakh in Russia Armen Tavadyan (1993-2006), as well as the leader of National Unity party Artashes Geghamyan. According to our sources of information from the foreign affairs ministry, the Ambassador in Greece Vahram Kazhoyan and consul of Armenia in Doni-Rostov Ararat Gomtsyan will be recalled as well. The latter, according to the same sources of information, may be appointed Armenia’s Ambassador in Ukraine after Armen Khachatryan gets another position.
