How much does Armenia’s sovereignty cost?

The government of Armenia is happy again as Russia agrees to provide (or they say that they will) a borrowing of 500 million USD to Armenia. So far only the amount of this borrowing has been informed and there is no information concerning the interest rates and term of covering. While the government of Armenia is trying to keep this information in secret a number of Russian media companies and experts have criticized the Russian government for giving borrowing to Armenia in such difficult crisis conditions. “The present worth of billions, which we are giving to our allies, doesn’t guarantee that they will fully be loyal to Russia. We are trying to find them, especially for high prices and during this difficult situation of crisis,” writes a Russian newspaper, and of course by saying ally they mean Armenia. Concerning the same issue the British newspaper The Times writes, “Armenia is a little bit more than a vassal state because it has sold most of its economic structures to Russian companies.” The conditions according to which Russia will give a credit to Armenia will become clear very soon, and it is not excluded that after publishing the mentioned information Armenia may lose the mentioned small independence as well. In consideration of the fact that Armenia became a vassal, or as the Russians say an outpost, by giving strategic companies to Russia against 100 million only, we may only assume what will happen if Russia gives us 500 million. Before it occurs we may inspire ourselves that the mentioned Russian newspaper and The Times are yellow newspapers and enjoy the 500 million. It is a pity that they cannot deploy that sum at once, otherwise they could reduce the exchange rate of dollar and make it 200 dram.
