Today “168 Hours” weekly journalist Arman Galoyan was called to the office of public prosecutor of the Marz of Shirak. The reason is the resignation of the mayor of Gyumri Vardan Ghukasyan. The problem is that in our last publication concerning the upcoming local government elections we wrote the following: “The recent incidents and murders in Gyumri, which point fingers at the mayor and his family, are more than enough”. The mayor qualified this sentence as contempt against him.
