After amending article 300 of the criminal code all the people charged under the mentioned article shall be released and the corresponding court proceedings shall be terminated. Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan said such idea when commenting on the initiative of the Armenian authorities to amend article 300 of the criminal code. Concerning the Case of Seven the ombudsman said that it does not justify the accusations (provoking and organizing mass disorders resulting in killings in the center of Yerevan) brought against the politicians. “There are components of subjective opinions concerning phone conversations of the mentioned people. Often conclusions don’t correspond with the content of the accusations,” said Armen Harutyunyan.
