He is planning to discuss the prospects of the NKR conflict resolution with the foreign affairs ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in the framework of the OSCE session to be held in Helsinki on December 4-5. “Both states will benefit from resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,” he said to the trend agency. He also made a sensational statement by saying that after the resolution of the conflict Azerbaijan may reduce its military expenses and the evictees may return to their residences. “As to Armenia, it can normalize relations with its neighbors – Azerbaijan and Turkey, what will contribute to its economy,” Mr. Lennmarker said. By the way, he also informed that after Helsinki he is planning to visit the region to discuss the ways of the conflict settlement with the leadership of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Trend Azeri news agency reports.
