When days ago the media announced the news about the robbery of the house of the former head of the tax service Armen Avetisyan by noting that the criminals also duct taped the members of Avetisyan’s family and even the children of course we all got naturally angry by thinking how can someone rob someone’s house in such a cruel way. When the reporters also published the photographs of Avetisyan’s house, which in its architectural structure more resembled the residence of the president of Armenia by its size the only negative thing that was left from the news was that the criminals abused and violently treated the members of the family. And the fact that many people would whisper that Avetisyan deserved this robbery doesn’t come from the fact of people being evil… Social inequality and unjustness are issues for all societies perhaps. But the specifics of our country is that the rich ones, who live a flashy and opulent life are the statesmen and government members, whose salary is fixed by the law and the society is aware of the amount of he salary. The wish of submitting a state job is first of all stipulated by the fact of profitability. And most probably the profits imply serious money as otherwise like we witnessed the local government elections in certain areas of Armenia wouldn’t precede in an environment of hostility, bloodshed and murder. Judging from the fact that the ruling party, which is headed by the President of Armenia, supports its own candidates in local government campaign we may assume that these positions are extremely profitable for the first entities of this country. Otherwise the ruling party in the face of its head the President of Armenia wouldn’t confess that the only convenient candidate of the ruling party is the current mayor of Gyumri Vardan Ghukasyan. By the way the latter and his well-bred son and nephews are popular with their indecent behavior. As a result of the last turmoil organized by them a 12-year-old child disappeared. Afterward, they found his burned body in one of the suburbs of the city. Vardan Ghukasyan’s son as we saw in this last local government election was so alive and harmless that he would bus groups of voters to polling stations. Endorsing such a candidate means not to respect your own society. And we are sure that till the end of his long and happy life (if the ruling party remains the RPA) Vardan Ghukasyan will be elected mayor of Gyumri. We all know how the rest of the local government elections in the country. In particular, the mayor of Spitak in his Drakht (Paradise) restaurant was attacked and afterwards he gunfire takes place as a result of which 4 people get wounded. The criminal chronics was quite rich last week with some publicly noisy incidents. In our previous editions we have written that many crimes remain unrevealed due to the biased and illiterate work of the law-enforcers, which enables the murders on the ground of revenge be perpetrated. The unrevealed murder of the head of the Hunters’ Union became a reason for his nephew to revenge. And the reaction of the Prosecutor General didn’t linger. He was surprised how can someone do vendetta in the 21 century? Meanwhile it turned out that the murderer of the head of the Hunter’s Union was quite known to the law-enforcers. If the police worked in a decent manner the culprit would be arrested and an innocent young man wouldn’t be in jail now. Besides that the readers never see the face of President Serzh Sargsyan’s nephew on front pages of newspapers. Instead they see the picture of the President’s brother, NA MP Alexander Sargsyan after each murder his son perpetrates. This is perhaps weak but certain information why the son is so confident in his deeds. And the problem is not that the father shouldn’t respond for the deeds of the son or vice versa but the fact that the nephew stays unpunished after every crime and during recent one he plucked out the eye of a young man. The President considers his son above the law and degrades the justice and public opinion. And the other state entities of our country by seeing all this injustice and crimes on part of the President’s nephew do not demand that he be punished for all the awful crimes he committed and instead the political prisoners be released. And as Yeshiva says in the famous book, “Cowardice is the greatest flaw.”
