While different NGOs organize seminars and trainings on mine
protection, citizen of the Sharnukh village of Syunik region Arnold
takes his donkey to the forest to collect wood every day by crossing
the ribbon around the mine danger territory. “Of course I am afraid, I
know that accidents happen unexpectedly. But I have no other way”,-says
Arnold. The only precaution that Arnold takes is to not saddle his
donkey. He thinks that by walking separately they are light in weight.
