“I am the only person in this country who gives guns as presents, no
one else does this. This problem is regulated by the existing law.
These procedures are made according to the regulated decision of the
Prime Minister, which defines the procedures, after which the relative
documents are signed”,- said the RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan
yesterday at the National Assembly when answering the questions of
journalists concerning the importance of making changes in the law
about presenting guns. It is worth to mention, that recently three
murders had taken place with the guns given by the Prime Minister. The
last murder was committed by the mayor of Nor-Hachn city. In response
to the question of journalists concerning whether these murders were
resulted by the drawbacks in the law, A.Margaryan said: “I don’t
present any guns to anyone until the police don’t check who they are
and if they are trustworthy or not”. The Prime Minister promised to
make this regulation stricter and confirmed that he had already ordered
the police officers to do so.
