We asked Galust Sahakyan to comment on the police attack early this week in the North Avenue of Yerevan. “I have no information about those events. Why do you think that any event happening in Armenia should become a topic of discussion in the world? The opposition is making critical steps now. The world is busy with other important issues now but the opposition is trying to demonstrate fake democracy to people,” said Galust Sahakyan. “They were fighting with pictures and posters. I believe that the second president has been involved in this action too because it is his signature and his way of thinking, which ultimately belied the police,” said member of the Heritage faction Anahit Bakhshyan when asked to assess the situation.
