The following is how the MPs of the European Union voted on Turkey’s
formula: “356-“for”, 181-“against”, 125-“neutral”. This is important
for the Republic of Armenia in that there is one condition stated in
that formula: the only way for Turkey to be admitted into the European
Union is for the country to recognize the Armenian Genocide.
