Sargsyan signed a decree on appointing Artur Baghdasaran Secretary of the National Security Council (NSC). Sargsyan signed another decree on determining the structure of the National Security Council. The NSC Secretary has been assigned to present the statute of the National Security Council for the approval of the President of the Republic of Armenia. The structures includes the following 15 officials – RA President, NA chairman, Prime Minister, deputy Prime Minister, Chief of Staff of the President, Prosecutor-General, Head of the National Security Service, Chief of Police, Commander of the General Military Base, chairmen of the NA committees on Foreign Relations and EU Integration.
