The government has approved the new program during its extraordinary session. Before the session the parliamentary factions discussed the programs and developed recommendations to it. Later the program resumed the recommendations and presented the final program to the factions. Generally, some people in the parliament say that this program is the program developed by Serzh Sargsyan last year with some changes. “Isn’t it natural that this program shall be based Serzh Sargsyan’s pre-election program developed in June? Also it shall be based on the programs developed by the Republicans and the other parties of the coalition. Accordingly, there isn’t anything strange here. It would be surprising if it wasn’t based on the mentioned programs,” said speaker of the parliament Tigran Torosyan to our correspondent. “There are both new things and organizational renovations in the document, but still there are some things that are missing,” said the head of Heritage party Raffi Hovhannisyan concerning the program. The head of the Prosperous Armenia faction Vardan Bostanjyan said the following concerning the program: “Yes, this is that program and the president wants it to be implemented. This is the improved version of the president’s pre-election program.”
