Former NA MP Hmayak Hovhannisyan, who after the Parliamentary elections of May 12, 2007 came up with the initiative and necessity of creating a Public Chamber, during the meeting with us yesterday promised to “make noise and accuse” the ARF MP Vahan Hovhannisyan. A few days ago the latter announced that he finds it necessary to establish such a Chamber. Hmayak Hovhannisyan blames the ARF MP of plagiarism and stealing his idea. “I will make noise in the whole world and let Vahan Hovhannisyan answer what gives him the right to steal my idea. My initiative wasn’t supported by them and neither was it supported by other factions and deputy groups. Only MP Victor Dallakyan reacted on that and presented certain legislative initiative to the NA. By not having the support of the MA majority that initiative was declined,” says H. Hovhannisyan.
Despite this H. Hovhannisyan thinks that it is late to establish such a chamber and it was necessary to establish it after the May 12 elections prior to the tragic events of the March 1. “The originated issues must be solved on the right time. But when everything is gone and only then the government tries to initiate anything it won’t give any use,” says H. Hovhannisyan and ensures that his warning last year was to make the government cautious of the possibility of the tragic events of March 1. “How can the ARF create a balance structure if it is also part of the government?” asks Hovhannisyan.
