Tomorrow at 2 p.m. the National Assembly will organize an extraordinary session in the Opera House of Armenia for the purpose of inauguration of the newly elected president Serzh Sargsyan. It is not clear yet who will be invited from other countries to participate. However, the names of the guests invited from Russia and the US are available. Our correspondent has been informed from the Embassy of Russia in Armenia that the speaker of the Russian state Duma Boris Gryzlov would visit Armenia. We have also been informed by the US Embassy in Armenia that the US State Department deputy secretary’s assistant Matthew Bryza and the charge d’affairs Josef Pennington will represent their country during the inauguration. By the way, a number of central streets will be closed in Yerevan within the period of 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on April 9. It is also worth mentioning that on April 9, at 2:00 p.m., people will put flowers near the monument of Mysnikyan to commemorate the 40th day of the March 1 victims.
