Is everyone criminal?

“When are the authorities going to give place to the petitions of local and international organizations and set the citizens persecuted for their political orientation free?” Answering to this question proposed by A1+ agency the minister of justice Gevorg Danielyan said, “The Ago group has not given any names, and if it has not given any names, it means that it wasn’t a concrete suggestion saying that people should not be persecuted for their political orientations. Can you allege that the authorities are saying the vice versa?” Answering to a question whether it means that all political party leaders, campaign managers and the activists who have participated in rallies are criminals the minister said, “Of course they are. If you are committing an action described in the criminal code it is considered to be a crime. I don’t know why people think that all petitions are political and people are always persecuted for their political orientation; if such petition concerns usurpation of power with force or changing the Constitutional order, it is considered to be a crime and does not have any political context”.
