Answering to a question concerning the reasons why deputy defense minister army general Manvel Grigoryan was dismissed from his position president Kocharyan said, “He was in vacation till April 1, and he was dismissed on April 2. If his vacation finished sooner, he would be dismissed sooner. The order does not specify the reasons of dismissal, but I have the copy of his application as well”. Answering to a question whether Manvel Grigoryan resigned himself or he was fired Kocharyan did not give a concrete answer and said, “This fact should be viewed in the entire context”.
