Yesterday president Kocharyan cut the last ribbon during his office at the central offices building of the ArdShinInvestBank. He also had his last conversation with journalists before leaving. Kocharyan answered to many questions, including some questions concerning the possibility of a dialog between the authorities and the opposition. “I don’t think that such petitions to start a dialog are targeted at me and I am not ready for a dialog. However, the scope of such dialog should be clarified; with whom and concerning what issues. For ruining the country people should be punished but not invited for a dialog. I believe that those people who have committed crimes should be punished in the manner established by the law. On the other hand, the next president and the next government may agree with the possibility of a dialog due to some reasons,” said Kocharyan in answer to the petition of the governmental politicians, intelligentsia, international organizations, the EU and other parties to start a dialog with the opposition. Yesterday the incumbent president also visited the government and thanked the members of the government for their long work and cooperation. He also said that he was grateful to his destiny to have the opportunity to be responsible for the Republic of Armenia during the past ten years.
