Recently MP of the Heritage Faction Zaruhi Postanjayn and a number of other MPs applied with a letter to the Prosecutor General, Ombudsman, head of the OSCE monitoring mission, Human Rights official of the European Parliament, all the embassies of Armenia, where they described the violations, which occurred on the election day and added that during Serzh Sargsyan’s rally in Ashtarak town he was escorted by the deputy prosecutor general Aram Tamazyan (see the photograph). Yesterday Tamazyan sent a letter to the Chairman of the Parliament Tigran Torosyan and ensured that the letter of the MPs doesn’t incorporate with the reality. “This is total gossip. Nothing like this happened. No such photo can exist and such a behavior is not relevant for legislators,” reads Tamazyan’s letter. As a response to our observation the spokesperson of the prosecutor general Sona Truzyan said that their office hadn’t received any photograph.
