“The resolution proposed by Azerbaijan and adopted by the UN General Assembly, which is not favorable to the NKR, is not legally binding,” stated the chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the NA of the NKR Vahram Atanesyan. “It is quite clear that the super powers of the world as well as the states of the co-chairmen of the Minsk Group of the OSCE were against the adoption of this document. The motives of the international practice show that the key issues of the world are solved not through resolutions but through concrete political-legal activities,” he said. According to Atanesyan the UN resolution will become “a reason for the Azerbaijani political demagogy despite the fact that in my opinion nothing will be changed in the methodology of the NKR conflict resolution.”
