Yesterday three officials from the ministry of trade and economic development joined the movement led by Levon Ter-Petrosyan. “We were expecting that the election would proceed in compliance to the international and European standards and the president would be elected legally, but there were massive violations and the election cannot be considered as free and fair,” reads their statement. The mentioned officials are the head of the ministry’s international trade and EU relations coordination department Vahagn Ghazaryan, the head of the inter-governmental and international relations coordination department Zohrap Hovhannisyan and diamond and gold production specialist Arman Sarukhanyan.
