The president of France, Nicolas Sarkozie has congratulated PM Serzh Sargsyan on his victory during the presidential election. “I am sincerely congratulating you on your victory in the presidential election. The significant superiority you had over the other candidates shows the support you have in your country. I appreciate the choice of the Armenian people, which one more time approved the will of your government to make reforms and integrate with Europe. Be sure that you can rely on the support of France to maintain stability and peace in South Caucasus. France, which is one of the Minsk group co-chairing countries, will continue with the efforts to find a long-term and mutually accepted solution of the hard conflict of Mountainous Karabakh. I would like to use this opportunity and say that personally I highly appreciate the bilateral cooperation development with your country. In the name of the French people and personally in my name we are sincerely wishing you, Armenia and the Armenian people a good luck. Dear Mr. Prime-Minister, please accept my best regards,” writes the congratulation letter. Yesterday the PM received congratulations on his victory from the Russian president Vladimir Putin, Georgian president Mikhail Sahakashvili, the whole Armenian Catholicos Garegin the second and Aram the A Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, Karabakhi president Bako Sahakyan and great singer with Armenian origin Charles Aznavour.
