Yesterday presidential candidate Levon Ter-Petrosyan applied to the Constitutional court. The statement of Ter-Petrosyan’s pre-election headquarter informs that the application submitted to the Constitutional court writes the following: “During the presidential election of 2007 due to reasons, which are not connected with presidential candidate Ter-Petrosyan, hindrance has been caused which is making his participation in the electoral processes established by the RA electoral legislation impossible”. The presidential candidate asks the Constitutional court “to declare the hindrance caused for presidential candidate Levon Ter-Petrosyan during the presidential election of 2008 as insuperable”. The CC will hold its first session on this issue on February 11.
