On January 27 some unknown people attacked the pre-election headquarter of presidential candidate Levon Ter-Petrosyan in Vanadzor and tore the poster and pictures on the walls. The police has been informed about this incident. According to our information, the police of Vanadzor has prepared some documents, but has not instituted legal proceedings yet. However, the police has instituted legal proceedings in connection with another case. The police of Aragatsotn received a letter on January 27, 2008, from citizen of Talin, Sargis Karapetyan, informing that he had been beaten during a meeting organized by Levon Ter-Petrosyan. According to the information of the general public prosecutor’s office, it has been found out that on January 27, at 11:30, Zh. Sapeyan, M. Sapeyan, T. Baghdasaryan and a group of people beat him during a pre-election meeting of candidate Ter-Petrosyan. The investigation department of Talin has instituted legal proceedings.
