The Central Electoral Commission has registered five local NGOs to observe the upcoming Armenian presidential election. Those include the It’s Your Choice (4010 observers), Open Society Institute (1405 observers), Justice and Right (616 observers), Gateway (40 observers), Erebuni (3 observers). No international monitoring NGO has been registered by the CEC yet. The RA NA has sent an observation invitation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, OSCE, CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly, ODIHR and the Human Right Watch organizations. The observers may get their accreditation till February 9, 2008.
