At the beginning of this month an unprecedented thing happened in the
armenian financial market, particularly in the field of state stocks.
During the first week of August the profitability of the usual
obligations with one year running period and with 500 mln AMD capacity,
issued by the Ministy of Finance and Economy, reached 3,24 %. This fact
can be considered as sensation if we take into account, that the same
day the US Treasury bills profitability reached 3,88 %. As for the
reslults and the impact, that state stocks profitability this much
reducement will have on the market and on the whole economy, will be
presented in one of our forthcoming editions.
